FLOOR SYSTEM


  • 2x6 pressure treated sills
  • (3) 2x8 girders (built up on job)
  • 2x8 floor joist @ 16" O.C. with required hangers
  • 5/8" 4x8 CDX fir plywood floor sheathing

LOG WALLS & GABLES


  • * "Cabin Grade" kiln dried eastern white pine logs
  • All necessary foam gaskets, caulking, dowels and 10" screws
  • Window and door nailers with caulking
  • Log siding and flashing as necessary for skirting

CEILING/LOFT SYSTEM


  • 2x8 loft joists @ 16" O.C. or 2x6 ceiling joists @ 16" O.C.
  • 5/8" 4x8 CDX fir plywood loft floor sheathing
  • Loft bearing wall as required

ROOF SYSTEM

  • 2x8 rafters @ 16" O.C. with 2x10 ridge
  • 2x6 ties as required
  • 5/8" 4x8 CDX fir plywood roof sheathing
  • Limited Lifetime architectural roof shingles with felt paper and 8" galv. drip edge
  • Grace® Vycor® ice & water shield in valley

  • 2x6 porch rafters @ 16" O.C.
  • 5/4x6 pressure treated decking
  • 2x4 ceiling joists @ 16" O.C. with V-match knotty pine ceiling

HARDWARE


  • All required nails are provided with the package
